In the Theravada Buddhist Tradition all monks observe rainy retreat for three months from July to October. All lay followers of each temple participate in special spiritual activities assisted by the monks who observe the retreat. This year’s leading sponsors of the retreat are Kim Hoffman, Hanh Nguyen and their family and friends. We are grateful to all of you who joined the starting ceremony on Sunday July 14, 2019 and helped make it a resounding success. Please look for the weekly activities at the temple from July through October.
